We are seeking a motivated and experienced automotive professional to join our Parts Department in either a Parts Manager or Parts Advisor capacity, depending on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong parts professional who is passionate about the automotive industry, delivering exceptional customer service, and contributing to a high-performing dealership environment.

Whether leading a team or supporting day-to-day operations, the ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and knowledgeable in automotive parts and systems. This role works closely with our Service and Sales departments to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and an outstanding customer experience.

Role Summary

The Parts Manager / Parts Advisor plays a key role in the success of the Parts Department by supporting inventory management, assisting customers and technicians, and ensuring the timely and accurate supply of automotive parts and accessories.

In a managerial capacity, this role includes overseeing department operations, staff leadership, and performance management. In an advisory capacity, this role focuses on customer service, parts sourcing, and supporting internal repair orders and retail sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers, technicians, and internal departments with parts identification and ordering
  • Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product information
  • Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and warranty/core claims
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, stocking, and cycle counts
  • Collaborate with Service and Sales teams to ensure timely parts delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Support merchandising, promotions, and retail parts sales

Additional responsibilities for Management-level candidates:

  • Supervise and support Parts Department staff, including training and scheduling
  • Monitor department performance, including sales, gross profit, and expenses
  • Implement strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Automotive or Business is an asset
  • Previous experience in an automotive Parts Department (required)
  • Leadership experience considered an asset for managerial consideration
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and cataloguing systems
  • Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
