Job Description

The Mission:

Park Landscaping Ltd. is a premier, tech-enabled landscaping and construction firm. Following a consistent trajectory of growth since 2006, Park has become one of the fastest-growing landscape businesses in Alberta. Park has served thousands of satisfied customers and won multiple Landscape Alberta Awards of Merit & Excellence.

We are seeking an executive-calibre Regional General Manager to take full ownership of our Calgary regional engine, a complex, multi-divisional operation.

The Portfolio: Multi-Divisional Oversight

Reporting to the Regional Director, Southern Alberta, you will direct a powerhouse regional operation organized into four primary verticals:

  • Maintenance: Commercial Grounds Management, Lawn & Snow Logistics.

  • Construction: Commercial Construction & Maintenance, High-end Residential Construction, Pool Construction & Maintenance, and Landscape Supplies.

  • Supply Chain: Full-service Topsoil Operations, Landscape Supply (Retail/Wholesale) & Fleet Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Scaling & P&L Accountability

  • Operational Integrity: Maintain full P&L accountability. Partner with the Executive Team to develop annual budgets, and optimize asset utilization to hit targets.

  • Calgary Integration: Lead the integration of our recently acquired Calgary HQ. You will champion the merger, refining weak processes and ensuring the HQ is fully integrated into our corporate structure.

  • Market Dominance: Leverage Park’s COR certification and membership in the Edmonton/Calgary Construction Associations to drive regional market share and cross-divisional synergy.

Industrial-Grade Operational Execution

  • Asset & Fleet Authority: Equipment downtime is a silent killer of margins. You will have ownership over regional Fleet and Shop operations, ensuring maintenance schedules prioritize operational uptime and P&L health.

  • Tech-Forward Edge: Drive disciplined use of our tech stack—Aspire Landscaping, SiteDocs, and Fleetio—to ensure data-driven decision-making and 100% operational transparency.

  • Quality & Safety: Uphold our "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" through rigorous field-level execution and COR-certified safety standards.

Executive Leadership

  • Performance Systems: Establish hard-hitting KPIs and hold divisional managers accountable for execution, safety, and profitability.

  • Succession Planning: Partner with HR to build a high-performance leadership pipeline, ensuring the region is staffed with "A-Players."

The Ideal Profile
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership in landscaping, industrial construction, or professional field services.

  • Executive Track Record: 5+ years in a senior role with full P&L accountability for multi-divisional operations exceeding $20M.

  • Systems Fluent: Deep proficiency in Aspire Landscaping (or similar ERP), safety management software, and data-centric fleet management.

  • Calgary Roots: A leader with deep local networks and a commitment to building a permanent legacy in the Calgary market.

Performance Onboarding: The Edmonton Immersion
  • To ensure seamless integration into our "duplicate-able" systems and award-winning culture, the successful candidate will participate in a specialized leadership immersion at our Edmonton Headquarters.

Note on Residency: We value the deep local roots of Calgary leaders. While HQ immersion is required to master our tech stack, the schedule is flexible. We prioritize operational mastery over "hand-holding" and will tailor the residency to balance HQ integration with regional mobilization.

Why Lead with Park Landscaping?

We offer a high-performance, results-oriented ecosystem designed to give our Regional General Managers the vertical leverage and operational infrastructure required to dominate the market:

  • Market Dominance & Vertical Integration: Position yourself at the helm of a regional powerhouse. Beyond our Landscape Alberta Awards of Excellence, we hold a unique competitive advantage: a fully vertically integrated supply chain. With our own topsoil production and landscape retail centers, you possess the inventory control and pricing power necessary to outcompete and capture dominant market share.

  • High-Velocity Operations: We eliminate the friction that stalls regional growth. By integrating a premier tech stack—Aspire, Fleetio, and SiteDocs—with a tech-enabled fleet, we provide you with the real-time data and operational visibility required to manage high-volume, multi-divisional cycles without the drag of systemic inefficiency.

  • Aggressive Scaling & Resource Leverage: We are built for rapid expansion, not just maintenance. We provide the institutional backing and capital resources necessary to broaden our regional footprint. We offer the platform and the engine for an executive with the vision to drive significant organizational growth and lead a premier operation to its next evolution.

  • Strategic Autonomy & P&L Ownership: We hire builders, not caretakers. You will have full ownership of the Calgary regional engine, with the mandate to tackle high-stakes industrial projects and optimize regional P&L. This is a role for a leader who takes pride in driving tangible growth and seeing their strategic decisions reflected in a rapidly expanding bottom line.

Apply today to lead the next chapter of our regional growth.
