This is a high-impact finance role at the heart of a fast-growing, pre-IPO technology organization. You will own critical financial processes including month-end close, executive reporting, and variance analysis, helping shape how leadership understands business performance. The role combines hands-on financial modeling with strategic insight, supporting key decisions across growth, investment, and resource allocation. You will work closely with senior finance leadership, accounting, and cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment. This position offers significant ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to help build a modern FP&A function from the ground up. It is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Own the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in close collaboration with Accounting and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead monthly and quarterly reporting for executive leadership and the Board, translating financial results into clear narratives, insights, and recommendations.
- Perform variance and flux analysis to explain performance drivers and support decision-making across business functions.
- Maintain and enhance consolidated three-statement financial models, cash forecasting, and long-range planning tools.
- Support workforce planning and headcount reporting in partnership with People Operations.
- Assist in implementing and optimizing financial planning systems to strengthen reporting infrastructure and scalability.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and strategic support to finance leadership and business partners.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, Big 4 public accounting, or corporate FP&A / strategic finance in a high-growth tech environment.
- Strong experience with month-end close cycles, financial reporting, and executive-level presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with expertise in building and maintaining complex financial models.
- Solid understanding of three-statement modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with SaaS or consumption-based business models is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with imperfect or evolving data sets and structuring them into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple recurring deadlines.
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a strong bias for execution and continuous improvement.
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary range of 150,000 to 170,000 USD.
- Eligibility for equity participation in the company’s long-term growth.
- Unlimited paid time off plus paid holidays and floating holidays.
- Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision premiums covered at 100%.
- Life, accident, and disability insurance coverage options.
- Retirement savings plan with employer-supported 401k.
- Remote-friendly work environment with global flexibility.
- Annual allowances for home office setup, internet reimbursement, professional development, and lifestyle spending.
- Learning, wellness, and mental health support benefits including access to wellness applications and enrichment programs.
