ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES MGR

Environmental Services Manager- Archbold Living Camilla

Description:

Utilizes management criteria to maintain the cleanliness of the nursing home

Demonstrates effective implementation of management skills

Assures the rights of patient/residents are protected in the facilities

Purchases Department Supplies

Supervise staff

Complete schedules

Conduct education sessions for staff

Education/Experience:

High school graduate or GED

Demonstrated leadership ability

Two years of supervisory experience preferred

Must have a thorough knowledge of the methods and procedures for cleaning and disinfecting patients rooms, ancillary room, general areas of the hospital and floor maintenance

Must be able to demonstrate and teach proper housekeeping and floor maintenance procedures including the use of buffers, floor stripping machines, vacuum cleaners, mops, buckets and wringers

Must be able to teach basic safety procedures

Must have good organizational, motivational and leadership abilities
