Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Commercial Loan Administration Manager in Woodland Hills, CA.
The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000 depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
Description/Responsibilities:
The Commercial Loan Administration Manager directs and manages the Commercial Loan Administration team to ensure the accuracy of commercial loan requests and closings, in accordance with loan policy. This position communicates with other bank department managers and officers to promote efficient workflows and establish positive work relationships across the organization.
- Assist in supporting commercial bankers as needed.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff. Support and provide resources on processes and procedures.
- Create staff work assignments, track staff productivity, and adjust as needed.
- Accomplish staff results by managing, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and evaluating the Commercial Loan Administration team to accomplish the department’s objectives.
- Ensure the Loan Administrators are performing their activities in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
- Serve as a notary
Education / Experience Preferred:
- 5 + years of commercial loan documentation or commercial loan support experience in a banking environment.
- 3 + years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and effective problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work productively and effectively without direct supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and multi-task in a high-volume workflow with multiple priorities, interruptions and possible short-term deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with third-party vendors, co-workers, and customers.
Working Conditions:
The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees may spend extended periods sitting or standing, using hands to operate computers or other equipment, and reaching for work-related tasks. Regular walking may be required, along with occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or climbing. The role may involve lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
