About This Position
Food Material Handler (PHL)
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Store Room Service Delivery position is responsible for proper receiving, inventory, stocking, rotating, and scanning all food product items in the materials dept. DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES: Responsible for preparing all food requisitions from materials and delivering to Food Logistics Dept. Must Receive, properly date, rotate, and store products in designated areas according to FIFO Decant product following FIFO practices Breakdown cardboard and following recycling process Maintains sanitation standards Other duties as required JOBS SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to read, write, speak English and poses basic math skills Must apply effective Food Hygiene practices Must apply safety and sanitations standards Must have ability to apply safety and sanitation standards, work around moving parts & wet floors Ability to walk, stoop, bend, bend, reach , and stand for 8 hours a day as required Ability use pallet jack, climb stairs, and Ability to use fingers and hands to handle equipment Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment Ability to work in extremely cold temperatures for up to 8 hours or more with appropriate insulated clothing Ability to push/pull 75 lbs. daily as required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required Excellent attendance/Punctuality record Safe work record Must have strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal , organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent changes
