About This Position

Position Description:

Our Payroll Revenue Clerks (PRCs) focus on the revenue and payroll aspects of our operations. Like a Camp Host they reside on site, however, their attention is focused on the revenue collection, processing, and reporting, as well as the payroll collection, processing, and reporting. They fulfill an important role of ensuring accurate and timely reporting of both aspects, which upholds the trust in our systems with our agency partners (i.e. Forest Service, Utility Companies, etc.) and our employees. Payroll Revenue Clerks have a talent for data organization and processing, attention to detail, reconciliation, checks and balances, and computer work.

REQUIREMENTS

  • YOU MUST BRING EITHER AN RV OR CAMPER TRAILER TO LIVE IN. TENTS, YERTS, AND SOFT-SIDED POP-UP TRAILERS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
  • Have superior Customer Service Skills
  • Be able to defuse/de-escalate a tense situation between parties. Conflict resolution experience would be very helpful.
  • Ability to scan, copy and email copy documents with scanners and multi-function printers and copiers.
  • Ability to use a computer to enter revenue and payroll information on Excel spreadsheets
  • Use a calculator to balance the revenue.

THE DUTIES

  • Process employee's payroll weekly.
  • Collect and reconcile cash fees from the camp hosts.
  • Prepare and do bank deposits.
  • Order on-line supplies for the district.
  • Purchase in stores supplies for the district.
  • Document and properly process and file district paperwork.
  • Train the employees on how to complete weekly timesheets.
  • Assist District Managers in their duties as needed.
  • Assist Facility Leads in their duties as needed.
  • Assist Camp Hosts in their duties as needed.

SCHEDULE

The employment schedule in this area is stated below. These are approximate seasonal employment dates. Weather, conditions and closures may affect this schedule as well as final job assignments. The manager will contact hosts with updates to the employment schedule.

  • Anticipated Schedule is: Apr 1 - Oct 6
  • Anticipated Weekly Hours are: 25 hrs./ week.
LOCATION
This area is located right where the name says, in the central part of Oregon along the coast. Those familiar with the state will recognize that its west of Corvallis, OR and Eugene, OR. And if youve been to this area youll understand that this area is bordered in the south by Florence, OR, continues north past the Heceta Head Lighthouse, north past Thors Well, north through Yachats, OR until you reach Walport, OR and then it turns east along Alsea River. Its a beautiful area that hosts coastal mountains and forests as wells as the Oregon Dunes, beaches of the Pacific Ocean, and rivers that the anadromous fish of the Pacific Northwest travel.
