Sales Coordinator at Yoders Components 2 LLC – Arcadia, Florida

Responsibilities:

- Provide primary customer contact and coordination for all truss and component orders.

- Act as liaison between the Company, Outside Sales, design team, and customers.

- Sales order entry, processing, and coordination of truss jobs.

- Coordinate sold jobs with customers, designers, production, and delivery.

- Analyze customer needs and provide accurate truss quotes.

- Maintain communication on order status, changes, and delivery schedules.

- Enter quotes into system, price jobs, and follow up with customers.

- Assist with inside sales support and bid coordination.

- Maintain customer files including quotes, layouts, and specifications.

- Ensure delivery dates are realistic and met.

- Follow through on all orders including revisions, engineering approvals, and shipping.

- Work closely with truss designers using MiTek or similar software.

- Coordinate with production to ensure efficient manufacturing flow.

- Assist in resolving field issues, missing parts, or damaged trusses.

- Maintain knowledge of lumber, plates, and truss manufacturing processes.

- Support management and outside sales in closing opportunities.

Truss-Specific Requirements:

- Basic understanding of roof and floor truss systems.

- Ability to read and interpret truss placement plans and engineered drawings.

- Familiarity with MiTek software or similar truss design systems preferred.

- Knowledge of EWP (Engineered Wood Products) is a plus.

- Understanding of load paths, bearing points, and framing concepts.

- Ability to communicate design constraints to customers and field personnel.

- Experience coordinating with production and delivery schedules.

- Strong attention to detail to avoid costly design or order errors.

Knowledge / Skills:

Education / Experience:

- Minimum 3 years business or administrative experience.

- Experience in the lumber or truss industry preferred.
