About the Role:

The Residential Installation Helper plays a crucial supporting role in the successful completion of residential installation projects. This position involves assisting skilled installers in setting up, assembling, and installing various residential components. The role requires close collaboration with installation teams to ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, the helper serves as a contact for homeowners during installations, providing courteous and professional customer service to address questions and concerns. Ultimately, this position contributes to enhancing customer satisfaction and the overall success of residential projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of installation processes.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and tools safely.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in residential installation.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in residential installations.
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints or installation instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead installers with the preparation and installation of residential components.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites, ensuring everything needed for installation is available and organized.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper handling of materials and tools.
• Communicate effectively with customers on-site to provide updates, answer basic questions, and ensure a positive installation experience.
• Support the installation team by performing tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling parts under supervision.
