About This Position
Responsible for installation of more advanced and larger scale burg and camera systems with some assistance possible. Able to work on alarm systems that integrate with home automation systems and fire alarms systems with minimal assistance. Able to assist in the training of installation helpers/trainees. Able to program more complex systems with profiles and schedules and train customers on apps with more complex systems.
Should be able to complete all of the following efficiently and competently.
(1) install any type of lock (2) program more complex systems with profiles and schedules (3) train customer on apps with more complex systems (4) install and program a sprinkler monitor system (5) wire a duct smoke detector (6) set up an access door fire release (7) integrate an alarm system with home automation systems and (8) manage and train helpers/trainees.
Installation Technician II should have, as a minimum burg & access licenses.
