SERVICE MANAGER at Atlas Machine And Supply – Hilliard, Ohio

Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc., is seeking to hire a Service Manager for our Nashville, Tennessee location. This position is responsible for managing branch operations and Service Technicians on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technician Management

Collaborate with dispatcher to manage day to day schedule or service technicians to 85% utilization and maximum profitability.

Manage service technicians ensuring proper conduct, tasks, safety, and etiquette with customer.

Communicate with technicians on schedules, issues, or concerns.

Monitor and approve purchased items related to emergency service jobs and non- stock items.

Atlas Customer Management

Communicate with customers on schedules, issues, or concerns

Quote service repairs as needed

Timely review and billing of service jobs

Collaborate with the Service Agreement Admins and Coordinator to maximize efficiency of preventative maintenance schedules

Accountable for service technician compliance to company established directives

Perform other duties as assigned by management or in accordance with Atlas bylaws

Collaborate with sales, customers, and other key members to develop solutions

Develop and execute solutions to customer issues in a timely manner

Develop relationships with customers, maintain and improve attachment rate

Proper and timely communication across all channels

Ensure accurate purchase order capture and effective management of open jobs

Available for on call rotation for managers for afterhours emergency calls

Requirements:

Knowledge and experience in industrial Air Compressor systems preferred

Education: High School diploma, (GED) or a minimum 3-years’ experience in air compressor industry

Management experience preferred but not required

Strong ability to manage timelines and complete assigned tasks efficiently

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills, including data analysis and solution development

Critical thinking ability with a focus on logical reasoning and decision-making

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications

Ability to understand, prepare and present reports as needed
