JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. Tasks include start-up and shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, maintaining and operating boilers, welding and cutting, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and other systems

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience is requiredPunctuality and reliability is a must.Honesty and exceptional work ethic.Ability to solve problems independently.High School diploma/GED equivalent required.Must be 18 years of age or older.2nd Class B Boilers Operator License preferred.

Physical Demands

Continual standing and walking during shift.Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift.Must be able to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals.

Schedule

8 hour shiftMonday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pmMust be available to work OT and weekends as needed, with or without notice
