Backroom Associate at Scan Design of Florida – Ft. Myers, Florida

Responsibilities and Duties

• Loading and unloading of the truck.
• Unpacking furniture and accessories
• Loading of furniture and accessories in customer vehicles.
• Assembly of furniture.
• Moving and placement of furniture on the showroom floor.
• Wrapping sold items
• Patching and painting showroom walls
• Assisting with inventory control and processes.
• Develop knowledge of Scan Design products
• Keeping the warehouse and showroom organized and clean.
• Accountable for commitment to Scan Design safety procedures and guidelines.
• Professional and friendly communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
• Permanent or temporary duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Recent and relevant experience. Preferably 2 years in warehouse/loading environment.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be responsible, organized, dependable, and able to perform general backroom duties.
• Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Previous furniture assembly experience a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible work schedule set by store manager.
