MainePERS is seeking a detail-driven, service-minded Retirement Services Specialist to support accurate, timely benefit processing while helping guide the day-to-day work of the unit.

What You’ll Do

Support the processing and accuracy of benefit-related workProvide general oversight of daily workflow; direct and assign work to pension associates and clerksServe as a collaborative subject matter expert and resource to staffRun and analyze reports and queries to ensure payroll and payment deadlines are met with accuracyAuthorize retirement payments and approve adjustmentsResearch and respond to complex member and management inquiriesPartner with Business Unit and Retirement Services leadership to keep work moving efficientlyContribute to building and maintaining a positive, engaged team culture
