TITLE: Regional Supervisor
FLSA: Exempt
PAY: $80,000 annual

SCHEDULE, TRAVEL

  • 20% remote with about 80% traveling and working from the office
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday with flexibility for weekends, overnights if needed to support staff.
  • Candidates must be in California, Region 9, to meet HS/PRS requirements. CPLC CA main office is 1200 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles.

The mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As the HS/PRS Regional Supervisor, your work is more than just supervising - you are empowering a compassionate team that ensures safety, stability, and hope for unaccompanied children and their families. You will lead a regional team of Caseworkers dedicated to conducting home studies and providing post-release services to unaccompanied children and their sponsors. Your leadership will ensure that services are delivered with empathy, excellence, and compliance, empowering your team to support families through each step of their journey.

  • Supervise PRS Caseworkers (Level 1 & 2) and Home Study Caseworkers.

  • Oversee assessments, case reviews, and quality assurance of home studies and service plans.

  • Support staff development through training, coaching, and performance feedback.

  • Ensure timely, thorough documentation and adherence to program standards.

  • Collaborate across departments and with community partners to connect families to critical resources.

  • Respond to crisis on short-notice, travel to visit offices and support your team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES Education / Background:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or an equivalent degree in behavioral sciences or a related social service field and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in child welfare, case management, home studies, post-release services, or related fields;

OR

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, behavioral sciences, or a related social service field and five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
