  • Position Summary
    • The Entrance Screener implements assigned protocols to ensure that patients, visitors, vendors and others coming to Cass Health meet established standards.

        • Valid Iowa Driver's License

    • TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
      • Required:
        • Ability to take appropriate action in response to the situation at hand
        • Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions
        • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
        • Excellent customer service skills
        • Ability to be flexible and demonstrate accountability

  • Essential Job Functions
    • Implements current entrance screening process.
    • Participates as a member of a supportive and collaborative team.
    • Follows current personal protective equipment protocols.
    • Ensures the highest level of customer service in all interactions.
    • Communicates concerns and/or issues that arise in a timely manner to the appropriate person.

    • Implement Valet Service for patients and visitors in an effort to provide a superior experience.

    • Evaluate ambulation needs of patients and visitors and offer assistance with assigned scope, securing additional assistance from other appropriate CCHS staff as necessary.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.
