Role:

We are seeking a Clinical Content Manager to serve as the connective tissue between Clinical Content, Operations, and other cross-functional teams. This role is central to ensuring our member-facing materials are aligned with operational workflows. You’ll help reduce member confusion by identifying content gaps, refining documentation, and ensuring consistency across published materials.
This position requires both strategic thinking and strong operational execution. You’ll manage the content lifecycle from draft to deployment, coordinate clinical input, and support the introduction of new biomarkers and content initiatives.

This role is best suited for those energized by fast-paced environments, excited to build in a high-growth setting, and deeply motivated by our mission at Function. If you're looking for meaningful challenges, dynamic work, and the opportunity to make a real impact—we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end process for uploading and maintaining clinical content.
  • Convert written materials into structured, upload-ready formats.
  • Ensure standardized naming conventions and other relevant medical information are consistent and applied across the platform.
New Test Coordination
  • Evaluate the viability of new lab tests through Function’s lab partner and other sources, working closely with stakeholders across teams.
  • Develop and maintain a pricing list for potential biomarkers.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a biomarker launch checklist to ensure readiness of all required content prior to release.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with Clinical and Operations teams to ensure clinician oversight is involved in relevant updates, including things like test prep revisions and clinical audits.
  • Translate internal feedback and member insights into actionable content updates.
  • Monitor member pain points and identify opportunities to improve content clarity and reduce recurring questions.
Content Centralization and Performance
  • Centralize clinical content and documentation, making it accessible and actionable for cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, etc.).
  • Track and report on content usage and performance across internal teams.
  • Work with the editorial director to gather input from clinicians, researchers, and stakeholders to ensure content meets broad internal and external needs.
Content Innovation and Improvement
  • Support research and analysis efforts to identify opportunities for content expansion or refinement.
  • Collaborate on the development and launch of new clinical content initiatives that align with company goals.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on clarity and clinical accuracy
  • Proven ability to manage content workflows across cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with content management systems or internal tooling
  • Comfort navigating medical literature, biomarkers, or lab testing concepts

  • Self-directed, collaborative, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
