Job Title: Oil and coolant Technician

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

PART TIME - 20 hours a week Monday - Friday (mornings)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB. Maintain the quality and quantity of coolant and oils.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintenance

1. Maintains coolant and oil levels
2. Maintains coolant quality by monitoring concentration values using a refract meter.
3. Maintains coolant tower quality by monitoring concentration values using a refract meter.
4. Operates forklift, will train.
5. Change coolant and clean reservoirs per PM schedule as needed.
6. Monitors inventory of oils, coolants, greases, oil filters.
7. Must stay current with applicable safety training.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent..

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
