Seeking Full Time Experienced Veterinary Assistant (Licensed Technician a plus)

Leesville Animal Hospital is a busy four doctor practice with a solid reputation for excellence, not only in medical care, but customer service. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication skills, a "can do" attitude, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced setting. Previous leadership role(s) a plus!

Must be able to confidently carry out any and all technical duties including, but not limited to:

• Administers SQ, IM and IV injections.
• Perform radiographs
• IV catheter placement
• Phlebotomy
• Restraint
• In-house diagnostics including microscopy and Idexx VetLab.
• Surgery/anesthesia monitoring
• Dental scaling, polishing, radiographs
• Customer service skills
• Client education
• Ability to maintain medical records

This position can expect a 4-5 day work week with the schedule posted a month out. Rotating Saturdays will be required! Paid-time off is available for full-time positions after 90 days of employment. Additional benefits offered include:
