POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible and accountable for observation of EKG rhythms of patients on telemetry monitoring. The monitor technician will observe report and document any changes in the heart pattern of the patient. Responsible and accountable for various clerical duties.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required:
-
High School graduate or equivalent.

Completion of an approved basic EKG or advanced level recognition/interpretation course required.

Preferred:
-
Previous experience in health care facility in a clerical position is preferred but not required.
