This role sits at the intersection of finance, project management, and operational delivery, supporting critical financial processes across client projects in a fast-paced consulting environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing, revenue tracking, and financial reporting aligned with contractual terms and project performance. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity by analyzing monthly results, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting decision-making through clear reporting and insights. Working closely with project managers, functional leads, and business development teams, you will help manage budgets, forecasts, and contract-related financial activities. You will also contribute to month-end close processes and ongoing financial operations across assigned service lines. This is a highly collaborative role where precision, accountability, and strong analytical skills directly support project success and business performance.
- Oversee and coordinate timely and accurate monthly billing deliverables in accordance with contract terms and client requirements.
- Review monthly revenue performance for assigned service lines and ensure alignment with financial expectations.
- Develop and maintain project backlog forecasts to support financial planning and visibility.
- Manage contract and budget data within Workday, including billing schedules, rate sets, and related financial configurations.
- Perform month-end variance analysis, including commentary on revenue, utilization, and trend drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with Project Managers, Functional Leads, and Business Development teams to support project execution and change order processes.
- Contribute to month-end close activities and other regional or global accounting support functions as needed.
- Support financial reporting, analysis, and ad hoc project work within the global project finance team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a project finance, accounting, or similar analytical role.
- Experience within a consulting or professional services environment is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of billing and basic accounting principles.
- Familiarity with Workday or similar ERP/financial systems is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Exposure to small or mid-sized business environments is considered a plus.
