Job Description
CNC Machinist
$28.00–$40.00/hour

This is not repetitive production work — you’ll be producing low-to-medium volume, high-mix parts to tight tolerances while taking on a wide variety of challenging, hands-on projects that keep your work interesting.

Key responsibilities include:
• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual mills and lathes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Machine parts to required tolerances and quality standards
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators
• Make tooling offsets and basic program adjustments
• Troubleshoot issues and work with supervisors and engineers
• Maintain documentation, inspection records, and a clean, safe work area
Ideal background:
• 2+ years of machinist experience in a machine shop or job shop preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Experience with CNC and/or manual machining
• Familiarity with steel, aluminum, stainless, and plastics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience with G-code, ERP systems, or quality systems such as ISO/AS9100 is a plus
CNC Machine Operator – Entry Level (Paid Training)
$18.00–$22.00/hour starting pay

What you’ll do:
• Load and unload parts and raw materials into CNC machines
• Operate CNC machines under supervision
• Follow job travelers and work instructions
• Inspect parts using calipers and gauges
• Deburr, clean, and mark finished parts
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Schedule for both roles:
