2nd Shift - Swiss CNC Set Up Machinists at Millennium Precision Llc – Manchester, New Hampshire

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Swiss CNC Setup Machinist to set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components for multiple markets. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with tight tolerances, and the ability to work independently to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
• Install tooling, adjust offsets, and perform first-piece inspections
• Optimize programs and processes for efficiency and quality
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
• Maintain proper documentation of setups and production runs
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues
• Familiar with ISO requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience setting up Swiss CNC machines
• Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming edits
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Experience working with tight tolerances (±0.0005” or better preferred)
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education:

• Minimum Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Two-year certificate in machine trade.
• Required: Experience in CNC Swiss machining.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/production floor environment
• Standing for extended periods
• Exposure to machine noise and cutting fluids
