What you’ll do:
The Fleet Administrator will assist in the day-to-day functions of the department. This includes but is not limited to responding to vehicle and facilities concerns, data entry, clerical and switchboard support for the department. They will ensure all people contacting the agency, either by phone or in person, are greeted or assisted with a caring professional demeanor.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assistin the day-to-day operations and oversight of the agency’s fleet. This includes oversight of fleet vendor services and contracts.
- Inspect vehicles monthly and log inspections using fleet tracking software.
- Work with vendors and approved mechanics that will perform predictive, preventative, and emergent maintenance asrequired.
- Maintainaccuraterecords as it relates to fleet tocomply withagency requirements. Includes ensuring all agency vehicles have the required inspections.
- Effectively manage projects anddemonstratethe ability to multitask to meet responsibilities of the position.
- Monitor and respond to the agency’s service desk requests as it relates to fleet. Alsoassistwith facilities service desk tickets; this includes assisting with maintenance and repairs.
- Demonstrateinitiativeto work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team to meet the needs of the department.
- Review and approve purchases for fleet. This includes obtaining bids and price comparisons for purchases.
- Assistand provide support to the fleet and facilities department in other areas as requested.
- Communicate weekly with direct managementregardingworkload, work scheduled, pending workload, or any other concerns.
- Other Duties and Responsibilities asrequired.
What you’ll provide:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum3 years of job-related experience.
- Previousexperience supportingcommercialfleet.
- Must have a valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years.
- Must have regular access to reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age attimeof employment.
Additional Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situations, work independently and cooperatively, recognize personal limitations, and relate positively and with empathy to all persons regardless of age, race, creed,genderor sexual orientation.
- Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and the policies and procedures of the agency.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive working relationships with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and community and business partners.
- If driving while on agency time or on agency business, a valid Arizona driver license andappropriate liabilityinsurance and approval for liability coverage with EMPACT - SPC’s liability insurance carrier isrequired. Attimeof hire, a 3-year state driving record with no major infractions or excessive driving violations/tickets isrequired.
- The typical work environment will be at an EMPACT office,working outin the community at all EMPACT-SPC locations.
- Employees must be able tolift upto 50 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularlyrequiredto stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers tooperatea computer, telephone, and keyboard.
