Job Description

Description:

Franklin Logistics is a local, family-owned business founded in 1985. With six locations in the Chambersburg, PA area, we have grown into a leading 3PL provider and industrial developer, delivering warehousing, transloading, and transportation solutions for over 40 years.

Our employees are the foundation of our success. We foster a supportive, team-oriented workplace where people are respected, safety comes first, and growth is encouraged. Our team takes pride in owning our customers’ challenges and delivering dependable, high-quality service. By embracing change and continuously improving, we strengthen relationships, keep our commitments, and create a positive environment for both our employees and customers.

Do you like staying busy, being part of a team, and making sure everything is organized just right?

Are you safety-focused and experienced in assisting with warehouse operations while keeping spaces clean and organized? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Step into the action where you’ll be the go-to pro for keeping products organized, labeled, and ready to roll! In this hands-on role, you’ll manually label incoming items to meet both company and customer requirements—making sure everything is in the right place at the right time.

You’ll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly by following the FIFO (First In, First Out) method, helping orders move out efficiently and accurately. While this role doesn’t involve operating heavy equipment, it’s perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and detail-focused.

Reporting directly to the site supervisor, you’ll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where no two days feel the same. Expect to stay on your feet—standing, bending, reaching, and walking—as you keep things moving. You’ll also get hands-on with essential tools like tape dispensers, label printers, and markers to get the job done.

The Sanitation/General Laborer keeps things running smoothly by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and jumping in to help stack, unload, and move materials when needed. No two days are the same, so you’ll need to be dependable, adaptable, and ready to roll with whatever comes your way.

If you’re someone who works well independently, has a sharp eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, you’ll fit right in.

This role reports directly to the site supervisor and is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. You may work across multiple locations depending on business needs, keeping things fresh and dynamic. Oh—and you’ll have the opportunity to level up your skills with forklift certification within your first year! This is a full time, non-exempt, hourly position.
