Job Description
Job Title: Training Instructor
Job Summary:
CASES is seeking a dedicated job readiness instructor for its new workforce development program CRED (Community Resources for Employment and Development) who is participant centered and desires to work in partnership with participants to accomplish their life and career goals. The ideal candidate has experience working with individuals who have systems involvement and has the fundamental belief that change is possible. The instructor must be experienced in facilitating job readiness workshops and providing employment coaching that is tailored to the needs of the participants.
Salary: The salary for the Training Instructor role is $60,000 per year.
Shift Hours: The Training Instructor position is full-time working Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm.

Workplace Flexibility: Flexible - Staff have the flexibility to complete their workday from home and/or another suitable space, typically after reporting to the office and/or engaging in the field or community-based work.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and support participants in improving their work readiness skills Facilitate work readiness workshops including but not limited to resume preparation, interviewing, professionalism, communication, problem solving, computer literacy for the workplace prior to internship placementFacilitate work support workshops including but not limited to stress management at the workplace and budgeting and banking during internship placement phase of programmingCollaborate with team to ensure successful advancement of participants to internships, credential obtainment and job placementWork collaboratively with team to coordinate and facilitate recruitment days, job fairs, and employment panels Work collaboratively with case managers and job developers during a 3 month follow up phase of participants to ensure participant successResponsible for complete, accurate and timely submission of all documentation, referrals, follow ups and verifications required for the programOther duties as needed or required
What we are looking for:
- HS diploma/HSE diploma at minimum At least 3 years of relevant experience and credentials or certifications related to the program's in-demand sector training with applicable experience supporting young adults in occupational and life skills training, college preparation and enrollment, and/or coordination of training and/or tutoring services, as appropriate for the programPassion for working with at risk populations Experience in social service or employment and training programsExperience in the industry pathways of construction and service. Strong communication skills, professional demeanor and organizational skills
Additional, preferred skills we are looking for but are not required:
- Experience in Group Facilitation Experience in job readiness curriculum development
