Job Description

CRM Senior Developer/Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a CRM Senior Developer/Administrator based in the United States.

This is a hands-on opportunity to own and evolve a critical Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform environment. You’ll serve as the internal technical authority across administration, development, integrations, data, security, and production support. Working directly with business stakeholders, you’ll translate operational needs into practical CRM solutions that improve workflows and user experiences. You’ll also collaborate with Product, Engineering, architecture teams, and external partners on larger initiatives. The role offers significant ownership, combining day-to-day platform management with continuous improvement and technical problem-solving. You’ll have the opportunity to strengthen automation, reliability, performance, and scalability across a business-critical CRM ecosystem.

Accountabilities
  • Own the day-to-day administration, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Dataverse, and related Power Platform environments, including users, teams, business units, security roles, permissions, upgrades, and service accounts.
  • Serve as the internal escalation point for complex Dynamics 365, Power Automate, integration, security, data, and production issues, identifying root causes, coordinating recovery, and communicating risks and next steps.
  • Configure and develop Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including tables, fields, relationships, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, business process flows, model-driven applications, and Power Automate workflows.
  • Develop and maintain CRM customizations using JavaScript, C# plugins, Dataverse Web API, REST APIs, and other supported extension patterns.
  • Support integrations and bidirectional data flows between Dynamics 365 and other business applications, including imports, migrations, synchronization, data quality, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage CRM solutions and deployments across development, testing, and production environments, including source control, UAT, releases, rollback procedures, monitoring, and production validation.
  • Partner directly with business users to understand challenges, clarify requirements, and translate business needs into effective configuration, automation, or development solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, business systems architecture, and external implementation partners on larger enhancements and integrations while maintaining accountability for CRM platform outcomes.
  • Maintain clear documentation covering configurations, automations, integrations, customizations, and support procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve usability, automation, reliability, performance, and business workflows across the CRM ecosystem.
  • Promote high-quality work and a strong customer-service mindset while contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Dynamics CRM, including meaningful experience in administration, development, and production ownership.
  • Strong expertise with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Microsoft Dataverse, including configuration, security, solutions, and Power Automate.
  • Proven experience with JavaScript in Dynamics 365, C# plugins or other Dataverse server-side development, and REST APIs or Dataverse Web API.
  • Experience supporting system integrations, data synchronization, solution deployments, and application lifecycle management across multiple environments.
  • Strong production troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to evaluate information from multiple sources and turn ambiguous technical issues into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Ability to gather and clarify requirements with business stakeholders and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage multiple support, development, and improvement priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, relevant technical training, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred experience with Azure Data Factory or other Azure integration technologies, SQL and relational data concepts, or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD, and Power Platform application lifecycle management tools is advantageous.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely from one of the following states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MT, MS, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WI, WV, or WY.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, generally from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, with an hour-long lunch break.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and the ability to connect the work device directly to a router or modem using an Ethernet connection.
Benefits
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible family members.
  • Company-funded Health Savings Accounts (HSA).
  • Pre-tax and post-tax 401(k) options with company matching of up to 5%.
  • Life insurance, accident insurance, pet insurance, and additional benefits.
  • Monday–Friday schedule designed to support work-life balance.
  • Generous vacation policy and a Life Balance Reimbursement Plan.
  • Remote work environment with flexibility around approved schedules.
  • Volunteer and community involvement programs supporting causes employees care about.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, learning, and development.
  • Collaborative, inclusive culture focused on trust, empathy, respect, customer service, and high performance.
