- Present and position a broad portfolio of energy and sustainability solutions, including energy efficiency and engineering initiatives, clean energy procurement, community solar, VPPA programs, carbon tracking, sustainability training, and related services.
- Develop customized proposals, presentations, and solution recommendations that clearly communicate business, financial, and environmental value.
- Build long-term relationships with prospects and clients through consistent communication, follow-up, transparency, and consultative support.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process and into project implementation, helping customers identify solutions aligned with their strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, sales support, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of solutions.
- Monitor clean energy market trends, regulatory developments, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics, sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate CRM records covering leads, opportunities, activities, and pipeline progression, while providing regular sales forecasts and market updates.
- Leverage industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and professional networks to establish relationships with decision-makers and generate new business opportunities.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities that can expand relationships and increase adoption of complementary energy and sustainability solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, sustainability, or a related field.

- A combination of 5+ years of relevant professional experience and applicable energy-related certifications may be considered in place of a degree.
- Proven success managing complex, enterprise-wide sales cycles within the energy, clean energy, renewable energy, sustainability, or a closely related industry.
- Strong understanding of clean energy technologies, energy efficiency principles, and environmental sustainability concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to identify high-value prospects through market research, CRM databases, professional networks, social platforms, trade publications, and other prospecting channels.
- Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills, including the ability to establish rapport quickly, engage prospects through persuasive communication, and effectively address objections.
- Experience qualifying leads and prioritizing opportunities based on business need, budget, authority, timing, and likelihood of conversion.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish connections with senior decision-makers through industry events, conferences, associations, referrals, and other channels.

- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate independently.
- Self-motivated, resilient, commercially driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and other sales productivity tools.
- Ability to travel occasionally for customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
