Nurse Educator - Critical Care in Auburn, New York at Auburn Community Hospital

Broad Function:

Develops, plans, implements, and evaluates educational programs upon hire and continuing through employment to nursing staff to ensure quality, safe patient care is delivered.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse license
• Minimum three to five years acute care nursing experience with at least 3 years in critical care preferred
• MSN degree required or active enrollment in program
• CCRN a plus
• Previous educator experience highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Full-time, Exempt 7a-3p, 8a-4p or 9a-5p shift and other shifts as required to meet department needs

Occasional evening or weekend, as needed

Salary: $105,000-$110,000 annually with a $5,000 sign-on bonus
