Job Summary

Uses the electronic medical record and telecommunication technology to provide care remotely in an inpatient setting. Collaborates with patients and other members of the healthcare team to provide admission and discharge teaching. Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and organizational standards and guidelines for specialty care and scope of practice per state licensing board.

Qualifications

Education

• Required
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Nursing program
• Preferred
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Experience:

• Preferred
  • Two years of experience in Nursing

Certification/Licensure:

• Required
  • Registered Nurse (RN), with authorization to practice in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
    • Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
• Preferred

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
