Displays2Go is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee our Picking and DC Inventory Control departments, directly leading a team of approximately 7 employees.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations and personnel while ensuring employee safety, department accuracy and efficiency, inventory integrity, and the timely fulfillment of customer orders.
The Operations Supervisor will provide leadership, motivation, training, and direction to team members while maintaining a safe, productive, and goal-oriented work environment. This position also plays an important role in maintaining inventory accuracy through ongoing warehouse adjustments and corrective actions as needed to support workflow continuity and customer service levels.
What You’ll DoOversee daily operations and team members within Picking and DC Inventory Control.
Coordinate daily work activities to support the timely fulfillment and shipment of customer orders.
Maintain inventory integrity through ongoing warehouse adjustments and corrective actions as needed.
Replenish, put away, and slot products efficiently to increase product availability and support order fulfillment operations.
Maintain open communication through multiple channels, including email, issue-tracking systems, and Microsoft Teams, with cross-functional departments such as Merchandising, Contact Centers, and Purchasing based on assigned areas of responsibility within DC operations.
Establish and sustain a continuous improvement culture aligned with company goals.
Coordinate the implementation of various improvements, including Gemba Walks, 6S audits, assessments, visual management, and Lean Daily Management meetings.
Remain accountable for Lean activities and the execution of activities defined within that process while championing Lean through daily coaching on Lean tools and methodologies.
Develop and maintain weekly and monthly department and individual KPIs.
Ensure compliance with company and OSHA regulations to reduce injuries and property damage.
Maintain a safe working environment through employee training and strong housekeeping standards.
Conduct equipment assessments to ensure the departments have the necessary tools in good working condition and report issues or request service as needed.
Engage, develop, and motivate employees through daily communication, start-of-shift team meetings, individual counseling, and mid-year and year-end employee reviews.
Effectively lead and provide direction through clear communication of goals, strategies, duties, and expectations to team members.
Participate in the selection and hiring of candidates for warehouse positions.
Administer payroll activities for assigned team members.
Coordinate appropriate daily staffing and department coverage.
Deliver consistent quality and customer satisfaction by ensuring team members comply with established operating procedures while working with DC leadership to continually improve operations.
3+ years of supervisory experience required
Bachelor’s degree required
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
Strong computer knowledge and skills
Strong focus on safety, accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
$56,000+ annually, based on experience and qualifications.
In accordance with the Massachusetts Pay Transparency Law, the posted compensation reflects the range the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and education.
