Account Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Manager based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a high-value portfolio of mid-market customers within a rapidly growing SaaS environment.
You will own customer relationships across approximately 80 accounts, with responsibility for retention, renewals, expansion, and long-term value realization.
The position combines commercial account management with technical and product expertise, allowing you to influence how customers use data and AI to improve business performance.
You will build multi-threaded relationships with users, commercial leaders, and executive stakeholders while proactively identifying risks and growth opportunities.
AI-first ways of working are central to the role, with modern AI tools used to operate efficiently across a large and diverse customer portfolio.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Support, Implementation, and Engineering to resolve challenges and strengthen customer outcomes.
This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded SaaS professional who enjoys working at scale, using data to drive decisions, and helping customers achieve measurable results.

Accountabilities:
  • Own a portfolio of approximately 80 mid-market accounts valued at $20K–$150K ARR, serving as the primary point of contact and driving retention, renewals, and expansion.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans that incorporate product adoption, AI adoption, revenue-at-risk, customer health, and expansion potential.
  • Conduct structured business reviews at least twice annually for each account, using product usage, adoption, ROI, and customer performance data to demonstrate value.
  • Develop strong, multi-threaded relationships across day-to-day users, commercial leaders, decision-makers, and economic buyers.
  • Manage the full renewal process, using adoption signals, usage metrics, customer health indicators, and ROI data to identify risks and ensure timely contract execution.
  • Identify and drive upsell, cross-sell, and multi-property expansion opportunities using customer engagement and product adoption signals.
  • Create and manage account-specific AI and product adoption roadmaps, proactively addressing stalled adoption and helping customers realize greater value.
  • Deliver best-practice sessions, education programs, webinars, and group training to increase platform utilization and enable scalable customer engagement.
  • Conduct recurring customer health reviews to identify potential churn risks early and establish appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across revenue management, pricing, performance, direct plans, AI solutions, and related capabilities to advise customers effectively.
  • Guide customers through data models, market-code mapping, OTB versus Actuals, integrations, data feeds, PMS connections, and API concepts at a level sufficient to answer questions and triage issues.
  • Partner with Product, Support, Implementation, Sales, Customer Care, and Engineering to resolve complex customer, product, and data-related challenges.
  • Maintain accurate account health, activity, support history, adoption, renewal, and expansion information across CRM and customer success platforms.
  • Track, forecast, and report on key account metrics, including NRR, GRR, expansion revenue, renewal rates, customer health, NPS, product adoption, milestone completion, and portfolio coverage.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, communicating customer needs and insights to relevant teams.
  • Develop repeatable account management plays, templates, and outreach motions that allow the portfolio to be managed effectively at scale.
  • Use AI tools and automation to increase productivity, improve customer insights, identify risks, and strengthen account planning and commercial decision-making.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, technical account management, customer success, or a similar customer-facing SaaS role.
  • Proven experience owning commercial outcomes across a multi-account portfolio, including renewals, retention, upselling, and expansion.
  • Strong AI-first mindset, with experience using tools such as Claude, Gemini, or comparable AI solutions to improve productivity and customer-facing workflows.
  • Experience with revenue management, business intelligence, data analysis, or similar environments, with confidence interpreting usage, adoption, and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with hospitality technology, including PMS systems, OTAs, channel managers, revenue management workflows, or related hotel technology ecosystems.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts such as data models, integrations, APIs, and data feeds to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to translate product adoption and customer health signals into renewal and expansion strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong prioritization and time-management capabilities, with the ability to effectively manage a large customer portfolio without relying solely on reactive support.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Gainsight, or comparable CRM and customer success platforms.
  • Strong product orientation and understanding of the workflows, challenges, and commercial priorities of revenue-focused customers.
  • Disciplined, proactive, and data-driven approach to account management, with an emphasis on scalable customer engagement.
  • Experience in a commercial overlay, technical advisory, or similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hospitality intelligence platforms or comparable SaaS solutions is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of API and integration concepts is preferred.
  • Experience designing or delivering scaled, one-to-many customer programs is a plus.
Benefits:

  • Flexible working environment with the option to work from home or from a global office.

  • 401(k) matching of up to 4%.
  • Medical coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield, with 99% company contribution toward the base employee plan and 75% toward dependent and spouse coverage.
  • $25 monthly HSA contribution.
  • Vision and dental insurance, including company contributions toward premiums.
  • Confidential Employee Assistance Program provided at no cost.

  • Paid parental leave, including 12 weeks for primary caregivers and 3 weeks for secondary caregivers.
  • $1,500 new-parent bonus and a four-week flexible return-to-work program.
  • Wellness support through a ClassPass subsidy of up to 80%.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
  • Employee referral bonus program.
  • Opportunity to work with technology relied upon by more than 85,000 users worldwide.
  • Collaborative, customer-centric environment with opportunities to work across Sales, Product, Customer Success, Support, and Engineering.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to equal opportunity and supporting diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
