National Accounts Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a National Accounts Manager based in United States.

This role is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share across a defined national territory.
You will build and strengthen relationships with key customers, dealers, distribution partners, and industry stakeholders.
The position combines strategic account management, new business development, technical expertise, and consultative selling.
You will influence purchasing decisions by positioning security solutions within customer specifications and business requirements.
A significant part of the role involves educating partners, delivering technical and commercial presentations, and supporting industry events.
You will also contribute market intelligence that helps shape go-to-market strategies and future product development.
With extensive travel and a high level of customer interaction, this is an impactful opportunity for a commercially driven security professional to accelerate growth in a dynamic technology environment.

Accountabilities
  • Drive sales growth and increase market share by developing relationships with existing customers and identifying new opportunities across the assigned territory.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, arranging meetings with prospective customers, partners, and strategic stakeholders.
  • Develop account and territory strategies that align commercial opportunities with customer needs and broader market conditions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business, commercial, and technical presentations to customers, partners, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with dealers and alarm receiving centers, ensuring they understand product capabilities, benefits, updates, and competitive advantages.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, commercial education sessions, and training activities with partners to strengthen product knowledge and support sales growth.
  • Influence purchasing decisions by advocating for the inclusion of the company's security solutions in customer and project specifications.
  • Work closely with distribution partners to understand evolving market requirements and ensure business partners have the appropriate support and resources.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of market strategies designed to expand adoption of security products and solutions.
  • Support the creation of targeted strategies for specific vertical markets and identify opportunities to increase penetration within those segments.
  • Represent the organization at marketing events, exhibitions, industry gatherings, and other customer-facing activities to strengthen market visibility and generate business opportunities.
  • Provide management with actionable feedback on customer needs, market trends, competitive activity, and industry requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth and expansion of the business by strengthening partnerships and identifying opportunities for long-term commercial development.

Requirements

  • Bring at least 5 years of B2B sales experience within intrusion detection, CCTV, access control, or other security-related products and solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and an established professional network within the security industry.
  • Have a deep understanding of industry standards, sales channels, customer segments, and key sectors within the security market.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge of security products and the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear customer benefits.
  • Demonstrate excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Take a data-driven approach to sales and be comfortable using CRM systems, analytics platforms, and other sales technology to manage opportunities and measure performance.
  • Be capable of developing trusted relationships with dealers, distributors, partners, and other strategic accounts.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand customer requirements, identify commercial opportunities, and develop solutions that address both business and technical needs.
  • Be proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be willing and able to travel extensively according to business needs, with approximately 70–80% travel expected.
