Employment Details
Employment type: Temporary assignment, approximately seven months
Anticipated dates: November 2026 through June 2027
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour unpaid meal period, totaling 40 working hours per week
Work arrangement: Hybrid, with onsite work in Pearl River Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday
Compensation: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
Classification: Non-exempt
Overtime: Overtime must be approved in advance by the employee's supervisor
Hiring arrangement: The position may be filled as a direct temporary employee or through a staffing agency
Holiday pay: Direct temporary employees are eligible for paid company-observed holidays
Benefits: Direct temporary employees are not eligible for company-sponsored benefit plans. Individuals hired through a staffing agency will receive separate information from the agency regarding benefits and holiday pay.
About the Role
We are seeking an organized, proactive HR Coordinator for a temporary assignment expected to run from November 2026 through June 2027. This role will provide continuity while a team member is on parental leave, supporting HR operations, onboarding, employee records, Rippling administration, employee engagement, and other key processes across the employee lifecycle.
What You'll Do
HR Operations and Employee Lifecycle
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Prepare onboarding materials and help ensure new hires have a positive first-day experience.
- Process and document employee lifecycle changes, including promotions, compensation changes, transfers, and organizational updates.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries and direct complex questions to the appropriate People & Culture team member.
HRIS Administration
- Support day-to-day administration of Rippling and process employee changes.
- Support HR workflows and troubleshoot basic system questions.
- Assist with reporting, audits, and data validation.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation.
Employee Engagement and Culture
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and company events.
- Support recognition programs and culture initiatives.
- Coordinate internal communications related to employee programs.
General People & Culture Support
- Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Assist with compliance-related documentation and audits.
- Support special People & Culture projects and provide administrative support across the team.
- Maintain clear process documentation and support knowledge transfer throughout the assignment.
Qualifications
- One to three years of Human Resources or People Operations experience.
- Experience working in an HRIS; Rippling experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear, professional communication and a service-oriented approach.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
Success Measures
- New hire onboarding is completed accurately and on time.
- Employee records and HRIS data remain accurate and up to date.
- Employee questions receive timely, high-quality support.
- Employee engagement initiatives are organized and executed successfully.
- Process documentation supports a smooth transition at the end of the assignment.

The anticipated hourly compensation range for this role is $27.00 to $30.00. The actual rate offered will depend on relevant experience, qualifications, market considerations, geography, and budget.
