We are currently seeking a Bilingual Occupational Health Nurse (RN) to join our growing team and work with our client in Montreal, QC.

This is a temporary part-time/casual, on-site role supporting employees in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will provide occupational health services, support workplace injury and illness management, conduct medical surveillance, and work closely with employees, management, and Health & Safety teams to promote a safe and healthy workplace.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and medical surveillance assessments.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct surveillance testing and assessments, including vision, hearing, physical assessments, and other occupational health testing.
• Follow up with employees who are ill or injured and support their recovery and return to work.
• Manage occupational injury and illness cases, including documentation and CNESST reporting.
• Support return-to-work and work reintegration plans for occupational and non-occupational cases.
• Coordinate workplace accommodations and medical restrictions in collaboration with employees, management, and Health & Safety.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee medical records.
• Manage occupational health and medical surveillance programs.
• Provide health and wellness education and promote healthy workplace practices.
• Participate in health promotion and injury prevention initiatives.
• Support ergonomic assessments and early return-to-work initiatives in collaboration with Health & Safety.
• Provide guidance to employees and management on workplace health and wellness matters.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and site leadership as required.
• Provide occupational health metrics and reporting as needed.
• Ensure occupational health practices comply with applicable legislation, standards, and company policies.
• Participate in Health & Safety committees and initiatives.
• Other duties as required and assigned.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Experience in Occupational Health Nursing and medical surveillance testing.
• Strong clinical assessment, injury management, and case management skills.
• Experience supporting workplace accommodations and return-to-work planning.
• Knowledge of CNESST processes and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee medical information.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with employees, management, physicians, and Health & Safety teams.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Occupational Health Nursing courses or certification.
• Experience with medical surveillance programs.
• Experience with workplace injury and disability case management.
• Experience working with CNESST claims.
• Knowledge of workplace ergonomics and injury prevention.
• Experience developing or supporting employee wellness programs.

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently in an on-site occupational health setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trust and positive relationships with employees.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
• A genuine interest in employee health, wellness, and workplace safety.
