Custodial Supervisor - El Paso in El Paso, Texas at Hui Huliau

Position summary

Lead and perform custodial and janitorial services at a secure Federal facility in the El Paso area. Serve as the on-site, designated point of contact for the Government (COR), direct the crew, run quality control, and personally perform cleaning and floor-care tasks. This is a working supervisor role.

Essential duties

• Supervise and schedule a 5-person custodial crew; assign daily, twice-daily restroom, and periodic tasks (PWS 3.18 to 3.26).

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for the COR; be accessible daily; receive and respond to service requests.

• Run the quality control program: inspect against the standards, document deficiencies, and correct them; manage to the twice-daily restroom requirement.

• Perform hands-on cleaning and floor care alongside the crew, including restrooms, offices, trash, and machine floor work.

• Coordinate RAPIDGate access and badging; enforce conduct, safety, and security rules; manage supplies, equipment, and the janitor closets.

Qualifications

• US citizen able to pass SF-85 suitability and an ISR background investigation, and to obtain RAPIDGate access (required).

• At least 5 consecutive years of recent custodial experience (within the past 7 years) in a supervisory capacity, at a facility of similar size and complexity (per PWS 11.1).

• Working knowledge of floor care (strip, wax, burnish, machine scrub, carpet care) and commercial cleaning equipment.

• Reliable and punctual; able to read and apply cleaning schedules and quality standards.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, and use equipment for a full shift.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
