The Logistics Control Manager is the leader of the Material and Logistics Management Facility. This role is critical to ensuring that materials and products are efficiently managed, stored, and distributed while maintaining accuracy and reducing waste or loss. The Logistics Control Manager oversees the entire logistics process, from receiving to the movement of goods, ensuring that everything is tracked, accounted for, and available when needed. This person will act as the primary point of contact and work closely with the preconstruction and construction groups to ensure materials arrive on the project site according to schedule and organized in a format that is conductive to efficient material movement on that project.
What Are We Looking For?
· Oversee inventory operations, ensuring materials are received, stored, tracked, and distributed efficiently to support company operations and project schedules.
· Implement and maintain inventory and material tracking systems for materials, tools, returns, and project allocations.
· Coordinate shipping, logistics, and driver scheduling to ensure timely deliveries and operational efficiency.
· Optimize warehouse organization and storage processes to maximize space, improve accessibility, and minimize damage.
· Manage company tool procurement, tracking, repairs, replacements, warranties, and employee tool purchase programs.
· Conduct inventory and process audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
· Maintain quality control standards for incoming and outgoing materials, including oversight of damaged or defective item returns.
· Monitor and report KPIs, inventory levels, discrepancies, and operational performance metrics to management.
· Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to material handling and storage.
· Collaborate with suppliers, project teams, and internal departments to support material flow and resolve supply chain issues.
· Lead, mentor, and support team members through task delegation, training, performance management, and employee development.

Requirements:What Do We Want To See?
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to comply with company vehicle policies.
· Associate degree in operations management, logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education.
· Relevant certifications or training, including Six Sigma or CIOP, are highly valued.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to read, interpret, and prepare reports, procedures, and correspondence, as well as communicate effectively with management, customers, and peers.
· Solid mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, calculate percentages and ratios, and solve operational problems.
· Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities with the capability to analyze data, interpret technical information, and manage multiple variables.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile technology, with the ability to quickly learn company software and systems.
