This role is focused on driving early-stage growth for financial and banking solutions tailored to licensed cannabis businesses in the US market. You will act as the first point of contact for potential clients, identifying prospects, sparking interest, and building a qualified sales pipeline in a highly regulated and fast-evolving industry. The position requires strong outbound sales skills, curiosity, and the ability to communicate complex financial and fintech solutions in a clear and compelling way. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth lead handoffs and strong conversion potential. Operating in a remote, international environment aligned with US working hours, this role offers exposure to fintech, SaaS, and banking solutions. It is an opportunity to develop deep expertise in a niche and high-growth sector while directly contributing to revenue expansion.
This role is responsible for generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads while supporting the growth of a structured and high-performing sales pipeline within the banking and fintech space.
- Identify and qualify new leads for financial and banking services targeting licensed cannabis wholesale and retail operators.
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media outreach to generate interest and schedule meetings.
- Research prospects and tailor outreach strategies to position fintech, banking, inventory management, and retail operations solutions effectively.
- Support cross-sell initiatives by educating prospects on additional product offerings and identifying expansion opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records using tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or SalesLoft.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads and consistent pipeline growth.
- Track performance metrics such as outreach volume, lead conversion rates, and meeting bookings to meet or exceed targets.
This role requires strong sales development experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment within fintech or SaaS-related industries.
- 1+ year of experience in sales development, lead generation, or outbound sales, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or regulated industries.
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, and engage decision-makers through multi-channel outreach.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or SalesLoft is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly.
- High level of self-motivation, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a performance-driven environment.
- Ability to quickly learn complex financial and fintech products and translate them into customer value.
- Interest in fintech, banking, and the cannabis industry is a strong advantage.
- Monthly compensation ranging from $800 to $1,000 USD, depending on experience
- Remote role based in India with US Eastern Time (EST) working hours
