Flexcraft is hiring a hands-on Quality Engineer to support and strengthen quality across our manufacturing operation.
This role is focused on driving quality into the process, not just inspecting it. You’ll work directly on the production floor, partner with operations, and help build systems that ensure we consistently meet customer specifications at scale.

You are responsible for:
- Ensuring products are built right the first time
- Identifying and resolving quality issues at the root
- Building consistent, repeatable processes
This role combines: Floor presence, Data-driven decision-making, Continuous improvement
What You’ll Do- Monitor product and process quality across production
- Perform inspections and validate process performance
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA)
- Analyze quality metrics (scrap, defects, trends)
- Partner with Operations to improve process consistency
- Support ISO compliance and audit readiness
- Train operators and technicians on quality standards
- Oversee and improve the use of automated inspection and vision systems (e.g., Keyence)
- Identify and implement process improvements
- 5+ years in quality within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of process quality and root cause analysis
- GMP or controlled environment experience
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
- Comfortable working hands-on on the production floor
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience partnering with production teams
- Experience with automated inspection or vision systems (Keyence preferred)
- Plastics manufacturing experience (preferred)
- You prefer being on the floor vs. behind a desk
- You focus on fixing problems, not just identifying them
- You take ownership and follow through
- You collaborate effectively with operations
