Sales Manager in Chicago, Illinois at VH MALIHA CHICAGO INC

The Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our leadership team. This dual-branded Hilton property features 350+ guestrooms in the heart of downtown Chicago and serves a diverse mix of corporate, group, leisure, and extended-stay travelers.

We are looking for a results-driven individual who is passionate about hospitality, relationship building, and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect and develop new corporate, group, and local business opportunities
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through relationship management and outside sales calls
• Achieve monthly and annual revenue goals across all market segments
• Conduct site tours, client meetings, and networking events
• Partner closely with Revenue Management and Operations teams to maximize hotel performance
• Manage RFPs, contracts, and account production reporting
• Utilize Hilton systems including Delphi, GRO, and Hilton sales platforms
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the downtown Chicago market
• Assist with weekend citywide and high-demand strategy opportunities

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel sales experience preferred, ideally within Hilton or branded hospitality
• Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
• Experience with corporate, group, and BT account management
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Knowledge of the Chicago market is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems
