Hands-on experience with materials selection, mechanical component design, fabrication techniques, and the assembly and testing of mechanical components and final products is highly desired. Experience with project management and familiarity with Systems Engineering best practices would be a plus. Knowledge of industry codes and standards, including the International Building Code (IBC), National Electrical Code (NEC), ASME standards, and OSHA Construction and General Industry regulations, is also preferred.
