About CLM
CLM Midwest is a regional commercial facility maintenance contractor with a local presence who partners with some of the nation's leading retail, convenience store, and restaurant brands. We are a long-established (25+ years), self-performing company that provides install, break/fix, and emergency services. This career opportunity is available as our sales and work orders are continuously growing in the greater NW Chicago region near you.
We are looking for experienced maintenance techs to join our field team who specialize one or multiple of the following core commercial skillsets - with a preference for carpentry competencies. 50%+ of workorders are overnight as these are projects completed for our client's stores while they are closed:

- Handyman
- Plumbing
- Electrical
Successful candidates are flexible, resourceful, and like to solve different problems every day. They have worked on facilities issues for commercial businesses or large multi-family properties. Experience is a must as we are a top company that big brands trust to fix their daily wear and tear. We host a 1-2 week orientation at our headquarters in River Grove, IL where new hire techs receive their technology training, tools, and work van. Daily work orders will range from reactive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installs, replacements, and two-person projects helping other local techs. Due to the nature of our scope of work, technicians do not need to have a state journeyman or master license to work here.
Our techs focus on the job at hand. We do not ask them to engage in sales tactics or complicate their take home pay with commission schemes.
