Registered Dental Hygienist in Kansas City, Missouri at Klein Dental - Staley LLC

Registered Dental Hygienist – Privately owned dental practice, Staley Dental Arts, is looking for that right Registered Dental Hygienist to complete the team! This position would be full-time, four days a week 8-5 with Wednesdays schedule being 9-6. Staley Dental Arts strives to provide the upmost care for our patients, while maintaining a fun, close-knit work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide preventive and rehabilitative caries control and periodontal services, as assigned by the treatment plan
• Provide routine prophylaxis and topical application to all eligible patients
• Provide scaling, when calculus is present
• Provide root planning, when tooth surface is rough
• Polish restorations
• Use local anesthetic for procedures, when a licensed dentist is present
• Chart all existing caries and restorations, missing teeth and prostheses
• Indicate all pockets over 3mm
• Perform complete head and neck exams, including soft tissue pathology
• Properly expose oral radiographs
• Provide oral health education
• Provide chairside instruction in plaque control
• Bring to the attention of all patients and/or guardians the benefits of fluoride in all forms

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Missouri RDH license
• Ability to relate well with patients and other healthcare personnel
• Ability to work under pressure
