Automation and Observability Specialist - Especialista

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Automation and Observability Specialist - Especialista in Brazil.

This role is focused on driving automation and observability strategies across complex and critical IT environments, ensuring operational efficiency, stability, and continuous improvement.
You will work at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and data-driven operations, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
The position involves designing and implementing automation solutions across multi-platform environments, with strong exposure to cloud, virtualization, and network systems.
You will play a key role in enhancing end-to-end observability, correlating events, and improving incident response through intelligent automation.
The environment is highly technical and collaborative, involving interaction with vendors, engineering teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the identification and mapping of automation opportunities across infrastructure operations, incident management, and customer complaint resolution flows.
  • Design, implement, and support automation solutions in multi-platform IT environments, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Define automation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders, translating operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Govern and curate implemented automations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute QA and testing processes to validate automated workflows and system effectiveness.
  • Analyze operational data to create performance indicators and support predictive and proactive actions.
  • Work with AIOps, machine learning, and cognitive solutions to enhance observability and intelligent troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support development, testing (UAT), and continuous system evolution.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields, with proven experience in observability and automation.
  • Strong experience in IT automation, AIOps, and development of web-based automation tools.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and infrastructure technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Linux, and OpenStack.
  • Advanced experience with observability platforms, including Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, log ingestion, dashboards, correlation, and analysis).
  • Strong expertise in Zabbix, including templates, triggers, APIs, and integrations.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and event correlation in distributed and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with agile and lean methodologies, project management, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Knowledge of network domains (fixed and mobile), OSS tools, and IT operations processes.
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, Power BI, RPA tools, and Node-RED is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in complex, mission-critical environments.
