Air is a Creative Ops System for creative teams. Our product automates the mindless tasks that creatives and marketers do every day to manage content and unlocks creativity through image recognition, automated versioning, and approval workflows. We launched in March 2021 and have raised +$70m from world-class venture capital groups including Avenir, Tiger Global, Headline Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, WndrCo, and Slack Ventures.
This role requires in-office attendance at least 3 days/week in Toronto or New York City.
The Role
Strategic Finance at Air addresses some of the company's most business-critical challenges. Our team strives to be a trusted strategic partner across the business, bringing analytical rigour and deep business context to the decisions that shape how Air grows, invests, and scales. We combine sharp analysis with a bias for action to help Air make the right calls at the right time.
We're looking for a GTM Finance Analyst / Sr. Analyst to join our Strategic Finance Team and play a key role in supporting Air's next phase of growth. This person will report to the Director of Strategic Finance and partner directly with our GTM leadership to shape strategy and decision making. Core Responsibilities
Air is a fast-growing company, so the scope of this role will likely shift across a range of depending on business priorities. That said, here are the core responsibilities to start:
  • Own and evolve our forecasting, reporting, and analytical infrastructure — including ARR, operating, and headcount models.
  • Prepare weekly revenue reviews and funnel reporting, translating data into insights leadership can act on.
  • Leverage GTM metrics (CAC, LTV, pipeline coverage, sales productivity, ARR/NRR) to identify opportunities, shape investment decisions, and influence strategy at the executive level.
  • Build Board-ready materials, investor updates, and performance narratives that influence decisions.
  • Support quarterly planning and budgeting, translating strategy into forecasts and investment trade-off decisions.
  • Partner with GTM and Product to evaluate strategic bets, model outcomes, and measure impact.
  • Leverage latest AI and automation tools to modernize our finance workflows and level up operational velocity.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of Investment Banking, Private Equity, FP&A or Management Consulting experience (or 4+ for the senior level).
  • You are highly proficient in Excel/G-sheets and have experience building bottom-up financial models and investor-ready presentations.
  • SaaS experience or knowledge is highly preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in SQL and BI tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency (or working knowledge) of the latest AI-native finance tech stack.

  • Competitive Compensation:
    • If based in Canada, the compensation ranges for this role are $63,000 - $100,000 CAD (Analyst), $100,000 - $125,000 CAD (Sr. Analyst).
    • If based in USA, the compensation ranges for this role are $85,000 - $115,000 USD (Analyst), $105,000-$143,000 USD (Sr. Analyst).
