Anesthesia Technician in Concord, Massachusetts at Emerson Hospital

Job Summary:
Reporting to Clinical Nurse Manager, Operating Room with responsibility to the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia, the Anesthesia Support Technician is an integral member of the multidisciplinary perioperative team. This team member is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the department and various pieces of equipment in order for the OR to be adequately prepared to care for patients.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous operating room experience preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification:
Eligible to become a registered Pharmacy Tech within 9 months of hire (test prep and training provided on the job).

Skills:
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. English language skills both oral and written are essential as this assistant is responsible for the care and stocking of medications, IV solutions, and highly technical equipment
Computer skills required.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
