We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and experienced Medical Assistant to provide essential support to our providers and patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within dermatology, and will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role is essential in supporting our Mohs surgeons during surge periods while ensuring patients receive the highest level of care. The Medical Assistant is responsible for a variety of patient care, technical, and clinical duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake including reviewing and documenting medical history, current medications and waivers.
- Prepare examination rooms by ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient visits. This will include inventory of supplies.
- Rooming patients and preparing patients for examination/procedure as appropriate.
- Assist providers with procedures as directed
- Ensure safe handling and disposition of instruments and equipment.
- Stable weekday schedule in a specialty medical setting

Qualifications
- Certified as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified as a Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- Previous experience in a clinic setting is preferred, particularly dermatology.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Experience scribing or documenting visit in real time
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and maintain professionalism at all times
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday
- Daytime hours aligned with practice operations
- No weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary based on experience, RN Candidates $25.00 to $35.00. MA Candite's $20.00 to $30.00
