Scrum Master

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Scrum Master based in Brazil.

The role focuses on enabling high-performing agile teams by facilitating collaboration, improving processes, and ensuring continuous value delivery.
You will act as a key driver of agile transformation, supporting teams in adopting best practices and overcoming challenges.
The position involves working closely with development teams and stakeholders to optimize workflows and delivery outcomes.
You will help create an environment where teams are empowered, motivated, and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings strong Scrum expertise, excellent facilitation skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

The Scrum Master will be responsible for guiding agile teams, promoting effective practices, and ensuring smooth project execution through collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring productive and engaging sessions.
  • Identify, analyze, and remove impediments that may impact team progress, fostering a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Promote agile principles and practices, including incremental development, continuous testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Support teams in improving workflows, increasing efficiency, and consistently delivering value to customers and stakeholders.
  • Mediate conflicts and encourage a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing team environment.
  • Motivate and empower team members by creating a positive culture focused on ownership, innovation, and shared goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business priorities and team delivery objectives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have solid experience with agile methodologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to support teams in complex technology environments.

  • Strong knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, including their principles, practices, and application in different contexts.
  • Experience using agile project management tools such as Jira and Trello for planning, tracking, and managing team activities.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, including project management features, code versioning, builds, releases, and testing workflows.
  • Proven ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and encourage active participation from all team members.
  • Experience managing blockers, resolving conflicts, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery practices and focus on incremental value creation.
  • Experience in financial services or payment-related environments is considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience leading software development teams is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Scrum Alliance, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), PMI-ACP, Scrum Fundamentals, ASF, or ASM are desirable.
