Accountabilities:

The Lab Filtration Sales Specialist will be responsible for achieving territory growth objectives by developing customer relationships, driving sales opportunities, and providing technical support throughout the customer journey. The role requires a combination of commercial expertise, scientific understanding, and strategic account management.

  • Develop and execute territory and account business plans focused on sales growth, opportunity development, competitive positioning, and market expansion.
  • Achieve assigned sales and order targets by identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers, channel partners, and internal commercial teams.
  • Develop account strategies to increase customer engagement, improve product adoption, and expand business opportunities.
  • Gather and share market intelligence, including customer needs, competitive activity, market trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to improve market coverage, business performance, and product portfolio growth.
  • Work closely with commercial leadership to define strategies, execute sales initiatives, track performance, and share best practices.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including product demonstrations, customer training, seminars, and technical consultations.
  • Support customers in selecting appropriate filtration solutions aligned with their research, laboratory, and bioprocess requirements.
  • Continuously develop technical knowledge of product portfolios, industry trends, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Maintain compliance with company processes while delivering high-quality customer experiences.
  • Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet customers, partners, and business objectives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience within life sciences, healthcare, or technical markets, combined with the ability to understand customer applications and provide consultative solutions. Strong communication skills, commercial drive, and technical curiosity are essential for success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Biotechnology, or a related technical field.
  • 5–7 years of sales experience within medical, healthcare, life sciences, biotechnology, or related technical industries.
  • Previous experience in applied markets, laboratory solutions, or scientific equipment sales is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of life sciences applications, laboratory workflows, or bioprocess environments.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop business within assigned territories.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region.
