Junior Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

About the Role

U.S. Legal Support is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven Junior Recruiter / Recruiting Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role plays a key part in supporting recruiting operations, candidate experience, interview coordination, applicant tracking, recruitment marketing, and onboarding activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting Operations & Coordination
  • Coordinate interviews, phone screens, and hiring manager meetings.
  • Manage candidate communications and scheduling across multiple departments and locations.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably ADP.
  • Create and manage job postings and requisitions.
  • Prepare offer letters, onboarding documents, and pre-employment paperwork.
  • Support background checks, employment verifications, and onboarding activities.
  • Ensure recruiting documentation, interview feedback, and disposition reasons are updated accurately and timely.
Recruiting Support
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings for hourly and entry-level positions.
  • Assist with sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for ongoing hiring needs.
  • Support candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
Recruitment Marketing & Employer Branding
  • Create and maintain job postings across ADP, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Assist with sponsored job campaigns and recruitment advertising efforts.
  • Support social media recruiting initiatives, referral programs, and employer branding activities.
  • Help coordinate virtual job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach programs.
  • Track job posting performance and recruiting event metrics.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Maintain recruiting dashboards and hiring activity reports.
  • Track applicant flow, sourcing activity, interview volume, and recruiting metrics.
  • Assist with weekly recruiting updates and reporting for leadership.
QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination, human resources, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring managers and business leaders.
Preferred
  • Prior recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably ADP Recruiting.
  • Experience creating and managing job postings, sponsorships, and recruiting campaigns on Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards.
  • Experience supporting hiring events, recruitment marketing, or employer branding initiatives.
